I've done 10+ years of business analysis across product, IT and delivery roles: product management and product design at a healthcare start-up, IT support for a managed service provider (MSP), IT leadership at Mad Cow Films, and web project delivery and IT consulting through my own company, Ryan Web Design (Ryan Ltd).

Discovery to MVP - Uniquedoc (healthcare start-up), 2013-2014
Problem: The start-up needed to learn what healthcare professionals would use.
What I did: I ran 1:1 clinician interviews at Glenfield Hospital, Leicester, turned the findings into feature reports and the launch roadmap, and co-wrote the minimum viable product (MVP) brief, wireframes and user journeys for development agency Spriing.
Result: When a network-first launch needed critical mass, I re-prioritised the roadmap to tool-first, which could deliver value with about two users.
Reusable conference template - Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Ryan Web Design
Problem: ICE needed numerous conference websites, each run from brief to completion on tight timelines.
What I did: I delivered the sites and recommended a reusable template.
Result: ICE could create and manage future conference microsites. ICE's Events Marketing Manager: “The feedback on the websites has been extremely positive from members, colleagues and clients.”
Automated portfolio delivery - Mad Cow Films / John Spary Associates, 2001-2006
Problem: Portfolios went out to advertising agencies as manual video tapes.
What I did: Leading IT there, I replaced them with a robotic interactive CD-ROM (later DVD) production and posting pipeline.
Result: It saved so much time that advertising agencies could be sent whole portfolio libraries to keep.
Agentic AI job-search workflow - own project, Ryan Ltd
Problem: My own job search needed a tailored application pack for each role, tracked end to end.
What I did: I defined the requirements, employer-scoring rules and data flow for a workflow built with an AI agent, Google Sheets, Google Docs and connectors, plus a persistent rules memory system. Every outgoing message is checked against the ad and my rules before sending.
Result: Over 25 applications produced and sent with its help. This is my own project, not paying-client work.
